The Love by Hypnotic, 明月照我心 / Ming Yue Zhao Wo Xin, The Love by Hypnotic. I absolutely adored these two characters.They drive the story, fuel the angst, and drive us positively bats*** crazy wondering. This is a story of love in its truest form. She comes back to town thinking he thinks the worst of her. After Nick dies, Katie flees town, leaving Jason behind after something happens. He was there through it all, and stood by her side, but in the background through out her relationship with Nick. You relive a few moments from the past in various chapters. She is home for the first time in ten long years for the wedding of her friend, who happens to be the younger sister of her high school boyfriend who died in an accident after graduation.
When we first meet her, we find her having a panic attack in a rental car. I had it in my head it was going to be a certain, way, but I actually thought it was better than that. This was such a sweet story!!! I really enjoyed it. Maybe her first love has been waiting for her all this time, at home in Harper's Crossing. It's time to face the truth she's been avoiding all these years, the same one that sent her running ten years ago - that maybe she didn't lose her first love the summer after high school.
